Dutch Science Talks is a series of lectures on different topics initiated by
Nuffic Neso Russia in close collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Moscow and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Saint-Petersburg. The main goal of this project is to introduce the Russian audience to the latest Dutch research trends and discoveries in peace and justice, circular economy, designing the future, and agriculture and food.
Science and research are among the most important factors for sustainable and innovative economic and social development in today's world. Economic and social welfare cannot be imagined without strong interdisciplinary research and collaboration between academia, government and business. Likewise, international cooperation is key to ensuring that science and research maintain the highest global standards.
We hope to facilitate and sustain a lively dialogue between Russian and Dutch academic societies, students and young professionals based on mutual empowerment. The lectures are online due to the pandemic. In the past, they would take place at universities and other venues not only in Moscow but also in other Russian cities. We would like to invite anyone who is interested in current research trends and wants to learn how scientific findings can benefit society.
